Ways to Give.
Changing the Mood on the North Dayton Corridor
Dayton N. Main Street Alliance is run by neighbors who give their own time. Your support, in whatever form fits you, helps us clean, connect and encourage the neighborhoods along North Main. Money is only one way. Time, skills, supplies and good ideas count just as much.
Choose What Works for You
Pick one, or mix and match. Every kind of help is welcome.
Give a Gift
Every dollar goes toward neighborhood cleanups, supplies, printing, events and the tools that keep neighbors connected. Large or small, a gift helps.
Online giving is coming soon.
[VERIFY: donation destination (online giving page, PayPal, fiscal sponsor or a check address) is not set up yet; add the button only after DNMA decides]
Give Supplies & In-Kind Help
Gloves, trash bags, paint, plants, paper, snacks for a work day, a space for a meeting, printing, or a truck for a Saturday. If you have it, we can probably use it.
Tell us what you can share.
Give Your Time
An hour at a cleanup, a flyer on a bulletin board, a seat at an event table. No experience needed.
Start with one Saturday.
Give Your Skills
Design, writing, photography, web, accounting, planning, repair, teaching. A skilled hour can be worth more than a gift.
Pro or hobbyist, welcome.
Partner with Us
Businesses, congregations, schools and neighborhood groups: sponsor a project, host a cleanup, co-host an event, or share your volunteers. We work with any group that is helping the neighborhood.
Let’s plan something together.
Spread the Word
Share our posts, tell a neighbor, put up a flyer, subscribe to the newsletter. Word of mouth is how this grows.
It costs nothing and it matters.
Where Your Support Goes
Gifts and donated time are used for the work of the Dayton N. Main Street Alliance in the neighborhoods it serves.
Neighborhood Work
Cleanup supplies and tools, flyers and printing, signs, event costs, website and newsletter tools, and projects along the North Main corridor. [VERIFY: confirm the list of uses; no promises about specific amounts or projects]
Good to Know
Tax Status
DNMA is a volunteer, resident-led group. [VERIFY: 501(c)(3) status] We cannot promise that a gift is tax-deductible. If you need a receipt or tax advice, please check with a tax professional and write to us first.
Your Information
What you share with us stays inside DNMA. We do not share it with other groups, the City, or public officials, and we do not sell it. See our Privacy Policy.
Questions?
Write to DaytonNMainAlliance@Outlook.com or use the Contact Us page. Prefer to help another group? That is great too; see “Other groups needing volunteers” on the Volunteer page.
[VERIFY: tax wording is deliberately cautious. Get a lawyer or accountant to confirm before DNMA says anything about deductibility, receipts or charitable status]
